Indigo Airline: Now you can book two seats for Single passenger: Key Things to Know

Indian Budget airline Indigo has launched a scheme that allows its passenger to book Two Seats to ensure extra safety amid the Covid 19. This service known as (6E Double Seat). This scheme will provide a stress free flying experience to its customers. Indigo airline was receiving such request from its customer, where they could book two seats for one person for additional safety so that’s why indigo airline introduce the option to book two seats for a single passenger.


Things to know about indigo Double seat service scheme.

01)  An extra seat can be purchased by passenger in conjunction with a booking proposed to be made by a passenger on an Indigo flight (Double seat)

02) Purchase of a Double seat is not applicable to Indigo Group booking

03) Seat selection is a mandatory process when a Double Seat is purchased.

04) A passenger can only opt for an adjacent seat as the Double Seat available in the relevant flight.

05) The charges for the extra seat will be effectively up to 25% of the original booking seat.

06) This offer is effective travel starting from July 24 2020 as per the airline.

07) Passenger can book one way flight, round-trip flight or even multicity booking on domestic sector for both direct and indirect flight.

08) Booking cannot be modified once booked under double seat you can only cancel flights.

09) Double seat cannot be transfer to another passenger.
