Each of their tents is spacious and comprises a comfortably appointed bedroom with a bathroom and a view deck to provide our guests with the best panoramic views of the enchanting mountains across River Beas.

Hike to Village Soil:

Take a short hike of 2-3 hours to the charming little Village Soil through the lush green forests and water streams. Village Soil is the oldest village in Kullu Valley and is home to the beautiful ancient temple of Jamdagni Rishi and Kabir. The village is known for its traditional Kath-khuni architecture. Depending upon the weather you may further hike up to mystic waterfalls a few hundred meters above the village. You can have lunch at the local café in the village or we can pack a picnic lunch for you to enjoy amidst the beautiful landscape.

Trek to Bijli Mahadev:

At an elevation of 2452 mtr, the Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva overlooks Parvati valley. This place got its name after the great miracle that occurs occasionally. The ‘Shiva-Lingam’ is struck by lightning and it breaks into pieces, then the priest of the temple collects all the pieces and joins them together with the help of butter acting as an adhesive.

Our local guide will take you by jeep to Village Halleni. From then onwards one has to take stairs which crosses beautiful jungles, apple orchards, and small villages too. On reaching, you will witness the spectacular views of the Kullu and Parvati Valley

Exhilarating and adrenalin rush, if you want to get a high the natural way, you can go for river rafting right at the banks of the Beas which is around 3 kms away from the property. They offer great packages through their partners and half a day can be spent post breakfast challenging your grit!

 

What to cover around the camps:

Manikaran

Manikaran regarded as the pilgrim center for both Hindus and Sikhs is 1.5 hrs from Kais by road. Located in Parvati valley and situated on the bed of hot Sulphur springs, is home to the famous Gurudwara and Ram Temple and a must-visit place. On the way halt at Kasol, a place made famous by Israeli tourists and their cuisine.

Hadimba Temple

A protected monument, the temple is situated amidst the lush green and thick deodars of Dhungri. Dedicated to Hadimba Devi, wife of Bhima and mother of Ghatotkacha, this temple is built in pagoda-style architecture with beautiful carvings and figurines.

Club House

Located next to the Beas River, the Club House of Himachal Tourism has facilities like – roller-skating ring, auditorium, billiard rooms, library & bar.




Naggar Castle

Starry night and a candlelight dinner! Just a 30-minute drive from the camps to this 16th-century castle, built by Raja Sidh Singh, it was the royal residence and later served as the state headquarters of the kingdom.

The major attraction of the castle is the small wooden temple inside the castle called Jagatipatt temple. Now converted into a Himachal heritage site by the tourism department, this hotel serves authentic local food at its premises. The bonus is a magnificent view of the Kullu Valley.

Atal Tunnel

Atal tunnel is a highway tunnel built under the Rohtang Pass in the eastern Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas on the Leh-Manali Highway in Himachal Pradesh, India. At a length of 9.02 km, it is the longest tunnel above 10,000 feet in the world and is named after former Prime Minister of India, Atal Bihari Vajpayee

Jana Waterfall

A gushing waterfall, in close the proximity of the camp, is surrounded by whistling pine trees, apple orchards, and snow-clad mountain peaks. For hikers, it offers a short trek up the hill.

For the art lovers, a must-have Nicholas Roerich, a Russian artist, inspired by the picturesque landscape of the Himalayas settled down in these beautiful hills after

the Russian Revolution. His works are today exhibited in the art gallery and museum. Roerich Art Gallery is set amidst well-tended lawns and displays the great art of  Nicholas Roerich.
